Safety for Children: Please note that these products are safe for children as they contain only herbs, vitamins, and essential oils and DO NOT contain any additives, artificial sweeteners, colors, dyes, alcohol, synthetic solvents, or sodium-lauryl-sulfate.  Unlike other toothpastes, these products do not have a "poison control warning" on the label as they are safe if swallowed. PerioComfort® has been used with great success on teething babies.

Sensitive Teeth: These products are recommended by the manufacturer for individuals with sensitive teeth previously using formulas labeled as for sensitive teeth.  The manufacturer worked to create a toothpaste that would thoroughly clean and brighten teeth without irritating the teeth which is generally the cause of sensitivity.  The first and one of the most irritating ingredients in toothpaste, skincare and more, which is NOT included in any of these formulas is sodium lauryl sulfate. Bio-Pro^® uses natural plant saponins, plant soaps, which are extract in its FDA registered pharmaceutically licensed USA facility.  Many other companies use chemicals that are similar to sodium lauryl sulfate, but are using a different name because of a very slight change in the formula and the wide controversy surrounding this ingredient. Also, for its cleaning "abrasive" Bio-Pro^® uses the highest grade of calcium carbonate available and DOES NOT use titanium oxide which has unknown medical implications. Additionally, the 22 active ingredients in these products aggressively control bacteria which can be irritating to the teeth and gum areas. Lastly, for those further concerned, the soothing gel can be used as toothpaste without any abrasive at all.
